Earlier this month SAP held a webcast on Customer Connection – Enabling the Installed Base with a focus topic on Web Intelligence. There currently is a customer connection program in process (with SAP) for the BI Platform.
SAP Customer Connection works with user groups and are very popular with European user groups. This year ASUG has increased participation in Customer Connection working with our SAP points of contact.
Customer connection works on small proposed requests and you need 5 subscribers. This call closed the loop on Web Intelligence BI 4.1 SP2

Q: Will we have global input controls across all tabs in a Web Intelligence doc in SP2?
A: Not yet; planned for next year but cannot tell you when
Q: How different is 4.1 Sp2 from 4.1?
A: For Web Intelligence it is better as you have additional functionalities
Q: How much of volume load can multi-source semantic layer can handle in SP2?
A: Look into later
Q: Custom grouping – when using BEx as a data source, with a hierarchy dimension can this be used?
A: Custom grouping would work on a flat dimension but not on a BEx hierarchy dimension
