I am pleased to announce a special HR Technology Meet-Up event on Wednesday 9th October between the famous HR Technology Conference and SuccessConnect in Las Vegas.  I would like to invite readers to stop by and talk all things HR and HR technology with industry legend Naomi Bloom and SAP Mentors martin.gillet2, jarret.pazahanick, and myself.  And we hope that many more HR and HR technology experts will attend this informal HR chat along with anyone else who is interested in these topics.

Why Attend?

This session will be an informal chat where anyone is welcome to come and talk with other attendees about HR topics, such as best practices, HR Technology, and the latest industry gossip.  You will be able to chat with a whole mix of veterans, experts, and bright young talent of HR and HR Technology and discuss your burning HR questions.  This is the ideal place to chat about HR in a relaxed and casual environment.  It’s also a great opportunity to meet, in real life, folks you may only know online.  Believe it or not, this will be the first such meeting between Naomi and Martin or Jarret.

Event Details

Everyone is welcome to join us, so please spread the word and come along with your HR hat on.  The details are:

Date: Wednesday 9th October

Time: From 2pm to around 4pm PST

Location: Mizuya in Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas

There is no dress code, it’s a cash bar, and you are welcome to drop in at any time.

Meanwhile, in Vegas…

This year’s HR Technology Conference is the 16th edition and features an action-packed selection of sessions by many well-respected thought leaders of HR Technology, curated by Bill Kutik in his last year as co-chair of the conference.  Jarret Pazahanick and Naomi Bloom both have discount codes to save you $500 and $550 respectively off the registration fee (Jarret’s code can also save you $400 off SuccessConnect) and both feature on panels in the conference.  The full agenda can be found here.

SuccessConnect is SuccessFactors’ annual conference and although there are satellite events, the US show is the main event on the SuccessFactors calendar.  Many of the stars of the HR Technology Conference, including Bill Kutik and Yvette Cameron, will be staying in town to speak on various panels at the event.  I will be moderating an Employee Central expert’s panel that will feature the likes of Thomas Otter (VP Product Management, Employee Central, at SuccessFactors) and Jyoti Sharma (Manager, SuccessFactors, at EPI-USE America and co-author of SuccessFactors with SAP ERP HCM).  There is a host of excellent sessions and the entire schedule can be found here.

Last but not least

If you can’t make either of the conferences then don’t forget to follow the action on Twitter using the conference handles:

I look forward to seeing you there!
