Your own SAP NetWeaver BW on SAP HANA with SAP BusinessObjects BI4 system....just in a few minutes

Some of you know that my focus area right now is SAP NetWeaver BW based on SAP HANA and the integration of SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.x with SAP NetWeaver BW on SAP HANA.

In the beginning of the year my colleague Rohit Kamath and myself did spend several weeks in India to conduct training sessions with our partners. The workshop was split into two days - 1 day for BW on HANA and 1 day for BI with BW on HANA.

At the end of the workshops, we always got the same question: "Can we use the labs environment beyond the workshop" ? and we always had to say "No" because we already had the next workshop the next day.

It became obvious, that the hardware and the installation of the software was not a small hurdle for some of our partners, and even for some of our customers.

We were using Amazon EC2 hosted environments as part of the workshop, so the idea was born to simply leverage Amazon hosted environments and "somehow" to make them available to our customers and partners in form of a trial license, so that they could leverage the pre-configured systems to see what the capabilities are from SAP BW on SAP HANA in combination with SAP BusinessObjects BI.

And here we are several months later and we are now able to deliver such systems to our partners and customers.

Starting now you can navigate to the SAP HANA Marketplace, select the product offering - SAP BW powered by SAP HANA - and you can leverage two prepared Amazon images and move these images into your own Amazon AWS account.

In other words, you can have a complete landscape with SAP NetWeaver BW 7.3 on SAP HANA SP06 with SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.0 SP07 up and running in just a few minutes.

So what do you receive ?

• You will get a completely configured SAP NetWeaver BW 7.3 on SAP HANA (SP06) system
• You will get a SAP BusinessObjects BI 4 SP07 Server and Client system
• Your SAP BusinessObjects BI system is already fully configured to connect to the SAP NetWeaver BW on SAP HANA system
• You will receive a 300+ pages PDF document with tutorials and scenarios highlighting the capabilities of SAP NetWeaver BW on SAP HANA and SAP BusinessObjects BI in combination with SAP NetWeaver BW on SAP HANA
