srikanthr.raok, SAP Product Manager, provided this Mobile BI 5.0 ASUG webcast today.

The Mobile BI 5.0 App (for iOS) has been loaded to Apple Store and will be available by end of June.  “MobI” is the short-name for Mobile BI.  Mobile BI 5.0 Android is available now on Google Play.

Introduction

Srikanth explained that SAP wants to make it easy and straightforward for you to mobilize your existing investment.  It is easy to create Mobile category.  Mobile BI “extends the reach”.

Figure 1 shows MobI is the container for Explorer now.  BusinessObjects Explorer for Mobile is now included in Mobile BI 5.0.

Offline support is provided for Information Space and exploration.

You can set up a connection to the Lumira Cloud using Mobile BI 5.

Figure 5 shows that Mobile BI 5.0 supports both Jam & Streamwork.    You can decide either JAM or StreamWork

BI Inbox support is provided on your device as shown in Figure 6.  Note the platform dependencies.

You can sort the screen by author, date title

Using a toggle will show support list view

By selection the Action widget, the secondary tool bar appears, allowing you to annotate, e-mail, etc.
