SAP Startup Forum Berlin 2013 is only three weeks ahead of us. We have been able to recruit 30+ exciting startups and would like to introduce you to them. Follow this blog series to find out who this year’s participants are and what they do. Let’s start with the first two:

Apaxo is a platform that helps online merchants to make more business out of subscription-based products in their portfolio. In order to do so, the platform finds the right customers for the products through semantic and web analyses of anonymized customer profiles and makes respective recommendations to the merchants. While browsing the recommendations, analytical data is also being captured to learn more about the customer. Apaxo is operated as a virtualized cloud system and hosted in multiple high-security data centers, supporting best practice privacy policies.

FlowTrack by Blue Cell Networks offers a unique solution for customer journey analysis that can measure and analyze customer behavior at the point of sale automatically and in real-time. The technology behind this solution detects Bluetooth and Wi-Fi signals from mobile devices and provides anonymized calculations of the number of people at the point of sale, their retention period, movements etc. This way, retailers can optimize their product placement, better plan their workforce and increase customer satisfaction by predicting and minimizing waiting time.
