In his keynote at SAPPHIRE NOW 2019 Bill McDermott welcomed Apple's CEO Tim Cook to talk about how mobile technology helps drive digital transformation and the Intelligent Enterprise. They also discussed future features that are planned in the SAP Cloud Platform SDK for iOS such as CoreML - machine learning on mobile devices.
Under the umbrella of the Apple and SAP Partnership, we showcased the Intelligent Enterprise scenario Design-to-Operate. With a focus on mobile applications and enriched with the SAP Asset Intelligence Network, customers and partners could learn how SAP´s integrated business solutions -together with the latest SAP Leonardo and Apple’s iOS on-device technologies - can be leveraged to solve real business problems along the Design-to-Operate process.
The main part of the showcase was a visionary demo of the SAP Asset Manager mobile application, leveraging the SAP Intelligent Asset Management suite, SAP Leonardo technologies such as machine learning and IoT as well as the Apple ARKit.
In addition to the main showcase, Apple and SAP experts presented the latest innovations in the SAP Cloud Platform SDK for iOS and our mobile design language Fiori for iOS to the customer and partners.
At the Partner and SAP apps presentation panel, over twenty partners and SAP experts presented their mobile use cases and experiences with the SAP Cloud Platform SDK for iOS and the Fiori for iOS design language.
