Update 2021 Sep: It is still possible to get a SAP PI/PO system. Go to cal.sap.com here you can create a new system in 10 minutes.

I’m really happy that SAP now is delivering a Demo PO 731 package to test everything on. You can read much more about this at starting the installation at

Try Sap Netweaver process orchestration in public cloud.

I’m working on a course for teaching how to use SAP PI when we do have access to the PO. So I was creating a video about how to make a simple file to file scenario. I did work out smoothly. You can see the video at PICourse.com.

I will in the coming time teach more about how you can learn the PI part of the Process Orchestration, so do go there and check it out..

Until I started with the configuration. Then I got errors about problems with the SLD and Adapter registration. So I have do make some changes.

I changed had to do some trouble searching. I had to deregister the Adapter Engine in the SLD. And maybe also add the default hostname to the host file ( c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts).

You can see the changes and what I did to get the PI part to work in this video.

Is there anything that I have forgotten? I had to make a lot of different things and I'm not sure which of them worked.
