International experience is why RPG Real Estate, a Czech firm employing more than 600 people in 33 companies operating in the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and the Czech Republic turned to SAP Partner Mibcon for help.
RPG Real Estate needed to improve its business processes. The company had been using Microsoft Excel spread sheets, but due to an overwhelming volume of data, processing was time consuming, demanding, and inaccurate.
“What we lacked was the managerial capability to facilitate planning, consolidation, and report creation, not only to Czech accounting standards but also to international ones,” commented Radana Šaškova, Financial Manager at RPG Real Estate.
“Another problem was manual work,” she adds. “It took us several weeks to prepare a business plan or to create financial reports. Our goal was to reduce that time as much as possible.”
Working with Mibcon, RPG Real Estate implemented the SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation application, augmenting it with the SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards software in order to improve data visualization.
“The main advantage of the new application is that we are working with uniform data. Everyone plans in a single database and within the same environment. This was impossible when we were using Excel,” said Šaškova.
“Mibcon is very familiar with economic issues, international accounting, and international standards. Its mix of knowledge, expertise, and specialization proved to be optimal for us. Today we make decisions faster and base them on reliable information.”
