C-B4 (“see before”) offers a unique pattern-based predictive-analytics technology for analyzing complex systems and processes. Our solution provides modeling of granular objects, such as a single client or a single product at a store, without any prior assumption or knowledge about the data. The main benefits are fully automated real-time analysis, ease of implementation, and the lack of need for the on-going support of analysts. In addition, the solution can be easily accommodated to many verticals. The patented solutions are the result of rigorous and extensive R&D work started at Tel Aviv University in 2000. C-B4 had won the Israeli IBM Smart Camp competition in 2011 and several other awards and competitions.
The company has participated in SAP HANA Startup Forum Day and has been selected to take part in the SAP Startup Focus Program, which empowers startups to develop new applications using SAP HANA. The collaboration between HANA and C-B4 will allow customers to enjoy a fast real-time analysis of BIG Data, using novel pattern recognition technologies.
One business challenge for example is when the behavior of the time series changes and the forecast should be automatically enhanced accordingly. C-B4 enables the in-advance identification of the exact time stamps, in which irregularities in the data starts to occur and for these specific cases, C-B4 provides improvement of the forecast accuracy, based on the new identified patterns in the data. In many use cases, the forecast improvement gained by C-B4 is more than 30%.
In areas such as demand sensing and supply chain analytics, the improvement of forecasts can help to reduce inventories as well as out-of-stock events and improve the business results.
