It’s close to midnight in Bangalore and ramakrishnan.parthasarathy/blog and I are sitting in his office here in Bangalore uploading pictures and videos from today’s Innojam Bangalore 2011 event.
The event boasted attempts for 16 entries of use cases but by the end of the 30+ hour marathon there were 9 standing contestant groups.

SAP Mentor Somnath Manna created the use case for his group’s “Lift Please” entry. The participants in his group were almost exclusively non-techies, including a group of SCN moderators and customer support folks, led by Abhisek Patnaik who himself is active in the SCN Community as a moderator. The First Place Winners were: Mob Riders who created an Enterprise Mobile Sales Assistant application awarded the honor to compete in SAP TechEd Demo Jam by the judges.

Problem Description: A sales person spends more than on 80% of his time on the road, invariably spending more than 80% of his time on the mobile device, today there is a lack of mobile application, which uses the device feature like contacts, call logs, device GPS and to enrich with Enterprise information, to assist the sales representative in his day to day job.
