The latest sensational tune for Indian TV commercial, composed by Oscar winning A.R. Rahman, goes like
“Jaise chai ke liye toast hota .
Waise har eak Friend jaruri hota hai
Har eak Freind jaruri hai yaar”
For those who don’t understand hindi or haven’t seen the commercial, let me tell you that it simply means that ‘Each and Every Friend is Significant'.
I believe, SDN shares the same spirit. No matter, weather a member is benefitting from the community or contributing to the community, Every and Every SCN Member is Significant.
Well I am not posting this of any recognition or nomination or prize. I am doing it just to participate. Sometimes I feel insignificant in this huge community of 2 million, but I know I and my contribution are important. Just like each and every member of SDN, I am also significant, because I am part of it.
Whether you are attending the TechED or not, I encourage every member to make their SDNotties video and be a part of ongoing madness at SCN:)
Most of us as shy of camera just like me, but come on its just 30 secs. Not that I am Spielberg, but I have my video ready, and you don’t, so I am taking the liberty of giving few quick tips to make the video based on my experience.
The principle I followed was K-I-S-S --> Keep It Simple Silly
- List down things you want to cover.
- Prepaid a script (especially if you are not good at improvising)
- Record your video at a time when you look and sound the best.
- Remember you can record as many takes as you want, and post the best of it.
- Remember its just a lively introduction
So relax and go for it.
