Dear Portal fans,

I am proud to share with you today the official release to customer of SAP NetWeaver Portal, enterprise workspaces 1.1. The meaning of this announcement is that the next version of Enterprise Workspaces is now available for ramp-up customers to download from the service marketplace.

In case you ask yourself what Enterprise Workspaces is all about, please read the SAP NetWeaver Portal, enterprise workspaces: Workspaces in day-to-day business explaining the use cases for Enterprise Workspaces in your organization.

And what's new with Enterprise Workspaces 1.1?

SAP NetWeaver Portal, enterprise workspaces 1.1 brings even more flexibility. End users can, easier than ever before, leverage existing content assets (such as iViews, Roles, Knowledge Management assets and Web Page Composer assets) directly into their workspaces, build their workspace in a “shopping cart” approach while navigating in the SAP NetWeaver Portal, discover information resources with the enhanced search capabilities and take advantage of the public APIs and extension points to customize the solution for their unique business requirements.

The following demo will guide you through the core new capabilities of Enterprise Workspaces 1.1:

So, I assume you ask yourself, how can I apply to the ramp-up program?

All the required information and subscription form is available on the SAP Service Marketplace: http://service.sap.com/rampup  > Active Ramp-Ups > SAP NetWeaver > SAP NetWeaver Portal, enterprise workspaces 1.1 (direct link).

More information about Enterprise Workspaces can be found in the following links:

Finally, I would like to invite you to join our ramp-up program and work closely with me and my colleagues from Product Management and Development on this new product release.

For any question, my contact details are available in my SDN profile. Feel free to contact!

Regards,

Aviad
