Efficiency – Non-profits against the general perception don’t have unlimited funds to manage operations. The processes which involve operations, fund raising, logistics need to be as efficient as it would be in normal business world.
Transparency – While Individual and Corporate Donors, associate themselves to a particular non-profit, it becomes a duty of non-profit to tell them exactly how and where there support or donation was spent.
Collaboration – No single non-profit can address all relief or support related issues, so collaboration becomes very critical while responding to disasters in unknown countries or unknown program initiatives.
One thread which connects all challenges is Analytics. To have each and every member of the organization empowered to be able to make intelligent and effective decision, it is important to have right analytical tools deployed and made available to users.
Users and Analytical Tools
Below are different analytical tools which we deployed in Direct Relief International for different users and there different analytical needs.
In future blogs, we would discuss the different scenarios in detail.
