SAP MII Backuper an application that I have developed which can take unattended backups of the Configuration & Projects of any SAP MII system above 12.0.

Though the method of taking backups varies between SAP MII 12.0 and system greater than 12.1, the application is intelligent and automatically switches from the legacy CMSAdmin servlet (12.0) to the published TransportService (12.1 and above) to ensure minimal human intervention.

The application has been created using Adobe Air and you would need to have Adobe Air runtime installed if you want to make use of this application.

Why should you use it ?

SAP MII 12.0 does not have an automated transport mechanism. SAP MII 12.1 and above does, when integrated with NWDI. Therefore, in case you are using v12.0 or using 12.1 without NWDI you can use this utility. You can also use this utility to keep a automatic backup of the projects/config you want on your pc or laptop.

Features

  • Intelligent Backup with auto detect SAP MII version
  • Can be run from command line without GUI with the parameter downloadMode for use with Windows Task Scheduler.
  • Backup taken on the system it is running on at a selected location with no human intervention.
  • Easy settings GUI to configure which Projects to backup.
  • Remember settings
  • Log file
