When I am not trying to stuff as much information into my head as I possibly can at SAPTechEd, one of the things I like best is to just find someone and introduce myself, and maybe have a lunch with them. At lunch on Wednesday, I found the opportunity to chat up some strangers - and even after their serenity was stormed by a pack of Mentors, they still agreed to talk to me, on camera!
I submit for your watching pleasure two videos, take on Wednesday, October 20, in the dining hall at SAPTechEd LV.
Biral Patel and Emigdia Degouveia had no clue who I was or what my evil plans were when they allowed me to sit down with them at lunch. We (and another gentleman, who asked to remain anonymous) were having a very pleasant lunch, chatting about the event, the educational opportunities, and of course, SAP Community Network (SCN, or SDN, depending on how you are feeling that day).
A wolfpack of mentors came in, starving, and overwhelmed our table - Jon Reed, John Appleby, Martin Gillet, and Aslan Noghre-kar, and Natascha Schubert Thomson. Biral and Emi were not put off at all. As a matter of fact, they seemed to enjoy listening to John Appleby and the story of how Natascha came to SAPTechEd (but more on that later). I saw how engaged Biral and Emi were, so I decided to take advantage!
We quickly split off from the table, and found a *somewhat* quieter space - so I could just record their sentiments about the event.
First up, Biral Patel of IBM... A first time attendee! And not too scared to be filmed.

Next up, Emigdia Degouveia (she gave me permission to call her Emi, probably to prevent me from botching her name too many times, but I am grateful, whatever the reason). Emi has been to SAPTechEd before, and she just had to come back!

And finally, when the wolf-pack swarm occurred, John Appleby of Bluefin regaled us all with the story of how Natascha Schubert Thomson came to be at SAPTechEd. Although Natascha has moved on to a new position (in Social Media, no less) and is no longer responsible for the feed and caring of SAPMentors, we just couldn't go without her. Sylvia Santelli is doing a fantastic job, but we felt some shoulder to shoulder knowledge transfer was required. Here's what happened:

With warmest regards to *everyone* who helped make this such an astonishing event,
