I admit, I didn't think there was going to be a part 2 when I wrote "School is Back in Session, After a Summer Break. End To End, Here I Come?".  Once I verified I was up to date with the Adobe Connect Tool I thought I was ready for class. "Wrong!"  After re-reading the documentation, I realized I will also need a Citrix client in order to be able to access a test system for hands-on work.  The Adobe connection is only for seating purposes, I guess.

I found this documentation, which also explains the "2 hour test" that had me a bit baffled:

Another  18 pages of pre-work.  A specific warning had me a little worried, as you may already have Citrix clients installed for normal work, and this requires administration rights to overwrite existing software.  Plunge on!

So far so good.  I didn't capture the "you're done" shot, hitting "OK" before thinking, so I tried to reinstall and get the same message.  No luck.

Figure B - you are good to go

That was just the first step.  There were 3 certificates needed to allow connections to succeed.  Each one had a link, and each one gave the same message.

Figure C - you are certified

Then I skipped around the screen on this page:

There's a bandwidth test, where you pick your location.  It doesn't seem certain that the back end servers I will connect to are in Philadelphia, but I picked that anyway.  I'll try with other targets later.  The default was listed for me as "EMEA"; I wonder why?

Figure D - you have achieved normality

After the bandwidth test (I'm showing these out of the suggested order for a reason), there is the latency test.  It's similar to traceroutes I showed in a recent ABAP Detective tale (link).

Once that requirement was satisfied, I reached the test that requires 2 hours.  No kidding.  It's called the connection test.

Figure G- you win

And, for fun, and also in the swing the the current SCNotties season, here is a screen capture of the beginning of the connection test.

The end. For now.
