ASUG!

Sapphire!

On the way into registration I stopped and spoke to the human-powered bicycle taxi squad pedaling up and down International Drive.  Good environmentally friendly transport.  I promised to give them a plug, so visit www.RediPediCabServices.com or call them at 321-251-4608.  I will probably walk over to the convention center, but it's great to have alternate transport.

Too bad they were told they couldn't be near the diesel powered buses.  Wonder why?

Registration was pretty painless, except for some reason I was handed an attendee badge instead of a speaker badge.  What was up with that?  My session was approved in January, by ASUG.

Picked up another ASUG shirt.  I think this is #8, not counting the ones I bought.  Got a new ASUG button, but not the lapel pin.  No big deal.

Stopped in the Business Process Expert session for the last 90 minutes or so.  Met the awesome Dennis Howlett finally.  Played sound man for a bit to try to keep the audience stimulated at the end of a long day.  Good job Marilyn Pratt keeping the energy level high!

SAP TV interview.  Perhaps I will be on the big screen - we shall see.

Community session went OK, but we were given half a room.  Hats off to Gretchen and Karin for kicking it off.  Fairly good attendance.

Speaker orientation meeting.  A lot of new faces, which should be good for the audience.  Session ran a little over.

Reception near the vendor floor.  Food was good, saw some friends from prior events.

Afterwards, got a short clip of Mark Finnern juggling the blinky lights. Enjoy!
