The SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment is becoming more and more a focus at TechEd, and because of this, SAP is going to offer a wide variety of sessions and topics dealing with building composite applications and otherwise realizing SAP's eSOA concept.  But: the more options one has, the harder it becomes to decide which choices are the best.  Even reading and understanding all 30 CE session descriptions (hands-on and lectures) will take some hours to get an overview. Therefore we try to help you to find those sessions that fit for your purposes.

The best approach is a role-based approach.  You know very well if your role is more technical-oriented, like a software developer or architect, more process-oriented like a business process expert, or more decision-oriented like a development manager, product manager, or sales expert.  Based on these roles, we would like to make some recommendations that will help you avoid getting lost in the jungle of TechEd sessions.

This blog identifies the TechEd sessions that will suit people in more technical roles. See below a list of CE sessions that are beneficial for software developers and/or architects.

CE352: Getting the Best from the Web Dynpro Framework

The Web Dynpro framework is the runtime environment within which your Web Dynpro application will be executed. In order to write the most efficient code possible, you need to know what functionality is provided for you by the Web Dynpro framework and write your application to make full use of it. This session shows what functionality the Web Dynpro framework provides for you and then shows how to make the best use of it. Also included are the Web Dynpro phase model, and navigation and error handling.

Hint: SAP cannot guarantee that each of the above mentioned sessions will take place at each TechEd location.

We will continue this type of blogs: in coming days there will be more blogs with recommendations for other roles, like business process experts, managers, etc.
