This fall, the best minds in the IT industry will gather at SAP TechEd to teach, learn from each other, and network. We know that some of the best minds also shine and lurk right here on SDN and the BPX Community, so we are giving you the chance to submit a session proposal for SAP TechEd and earn a complimentary lecture-only conference registration for presenting. SAP TechEd is saving community lecture slots just for SDN and BPX Community members. (SAP employees are not eligible).  The deadline for submissions has been extended to Sunday, May 6 at 11:59 p.m. PDT, so submit your one-hour lecture proposals soon!   This year’s conference theme is “Enterprise SOA – Put the Power to Work”. Tell us how you increased business agility and business process flexibility through the use of model-driven development and business process management. We want to hear from experts who are part of the ecosytem co-innovating with SAP to address business and IT challenges affecting the entire industry. If you were able to use open source scripting languages like Ruby to access SAP services using the latest SOA standards - we want to know!   We are counting on BPX Community members to help expand our content for business process experts this year. Share your expertise on topics like process modeling and Solution Manager within SAP NetWeaver infrastructure, BPM methodology and approach within an SAP ERP 6.0 production environment, or linking business process strategy and execution within SAP ERP 6.0.  SAP TechEd attendees appreciate technical content on cutting-edge technologies but also want to know how to work with their current technologies and migrate to enterprise SOA and SAP NetWeaver. Customer experiences and upgrade stories are a very welcome addition to the core content delivered by SAP. Specific topics that last year’s attendees said they wanted to see more of in the future included ABAP, security, Java, SAP NetWeaver, BASIS, SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal, enterprise SOA, BI, Solution Manager, XI, and widgets.   Also, keep in mind how your area of expertise might fit in to this year’s track structure, which is based on SAP NetWeaver capabilities.
