In my continued quest to find out what the community here on SDN wants and how things are from the "other side" I've decided to setup a SkypeCast, now what this is, is a online audio conference call using Skype, so of course if you want to participate you will need to have Skype installed and configured. Normally I am not one to force anyone into a particular program but this feature is there and one that I am comfortable with. It's also cheap so I won't get in trouble for spending too much money 😉 So what is a "SDN Round Table", well it's a session where everyone comes together and gets to speak up about the topic at hand, the first session being "SDN in general" and "SAP topics of interest". My role in the meeting is to simply provide the forum (SkypeCasts) and the announcement (this blog) and then to welcome everyone and open the floor up to discussions. I will also moderate to ensure we don't get way off topic and field any and all questions I can of course. What's your role? Well your role will be to speak up about what's on your mind and help make a difference here on SDN. Join me in our first session of the "SDN Round Table", future sessions may also take place in Walldorf as well as times more suitable for our Asia and Americas SDNers and I will update everyone to that as they start up.
