Okay, so its called TechEd, but we know that many Business Process Experts intend to attend. Here's an opportunity for the BPX community to present and network at TechEd '06.
In his blog: SDN Day at TechEd'06 Mark Finnern proclaimed: "We will leave some space for spontaneous sessions, but we also give you the opportunity to suggest a session in advance. Via this webform. (Unfortunately we haven't integrated the form with SDN yet, so you have to tell us your name, email and phone number again. Sorry.) What sessions are we looking for? Simple sessions that show solutions that would interest other SDNers. BPXers are welcomed too, if they provide enough sessions we may even be able to do a seperate BPX track."
So here's the opportunity....and the challenge...the BPX community is young, in fact, technically, it doesn't really exist yet...remember we are still in " BPX Sneak Preview" mode. But what better way to make this community known, then by thinking up the niftiest, most engaging presentations. I mean, many BPXers are, by definition, excellent communicators who design, model, implement, operate, and optimize processes every day and express that in their daily work.
So... think of exciting ways to share and demo your stuff...executing or deploying business processes, monitoring business processes, measuring and improving the business process, perhaps in your own innovative way, with your own toolsets, perhaps using some of those available in your SAP arsenal: Visual Composer, ARIS, ccBPM, Solution Maps. I know that many of you have not had the proper venue to share your contributions that are less code-based and here is the chance. But you'll have to grab it. Those presentation slots are a hot item and space is limited in this live "meetup" day.
Mark Finnern is an equal opportunity kind of guy, so let's be a part of this excellent opportunity to bridge the IT/Business divide and really be full-fledged participants of this vibrant community SDN/BPX.
