To all of you listed above: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! Your contributions make SDN what it is. Speaking on behalf of the whole SDN Team and the whole SDN community: We are very greatful for all the things you do here.

The list of flags shows how diverse the number one development area contributors are and it only represents where these people are working now, not where they are born.

Cut off day for this year's SDN contest is again a week before the SAP TechEd in Vienna: Friday the 16th of September. This time "High Noon" 12 o'clock pacific standard time we will stop the counting. I don't want to keep an eye on the statistics until midnight on a Grande Finale 🙂.

We have some great prizes for the overall Top Contributors that we are going to announce very soon. Please be patient.

The top three in every development area will get a gift certificate for the SAP shop: First place €100, second place €50 third place €25. If you live far away from the mother ship in Walldorf, don't despair, we pay for the delivery of the prize you select. You will also get a certificate and a pin that will state your rank and in which development area you did your great work.

The number behind the three names listed is the one to beat today to be in the winner's circle. (By the time you write this most of these numbers are probably higher already).

Interesting questions until the 16th of September:

  • Who will get the most pins?
  • Will Craig pass me in the SDN General section?
(Probably has already, once his points are merged from his old user)
  • Will Shai hang on to spot number three in the ESA area?

Only time will tell.

P.S. I know many will be tempted to change the "Points Development Area" Weblog association. Don't. It would only work if you set your post to draft changed the association and put it back to final. This way your post would be back on top of the most recent weblog list again. No one wants that.
