The disadvantage of organizing parts of the SAP Developer Network presence at the SAP TechEds is that you don't find time to check out sessions. At least until today, where I went to parts of the SDN member sessions.

I was too late for Writing Secure Web Applications but I hear that Anreas Wiegenstein did an excellent job to explain how to make your programs more secure.

I joined DJ Adams half way into his The Internet Communication Framework: Into Context and Into Action! It was an amazing introduction into the ICF half of it great slides to get an overview of the concepts and all the parts involved and then live coding: He led us through the creation of a user within an R/3 sytem and checking its existance afterwards. He actually brought his own little server that he placed on the speaker's desk, connected to his laptop.

It was great fun and I am wondering, how I can squeeze some time out of my busy schedule to do some coding too.

Right afterwards Jayakumar Narayanan presented Performance Tuning Massive SAP BW Systems - Tips and Tricks and that really showed that SDN selection process was a good one, because the session was so packed, that I left to give others space. DJ posted some pictures about it.

Later in the afternoon DJ and Piers made good use of the SDN Clubhouse by installing there the latest (Mini) Installfest in the SDN clubhouse at TechEd on DJ's server including some minor hacking.

I am off to my parents in the Black Forest see you all online in a week or so.
