The new release of My Home in S/4HANA Cloud 2308, public edition brings several new features, more customization capabilities, and a redesign of some interactions for a more intuitive approach.

My Home in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition, provides personalized and easy access on any device to all:

  • Relevant To Dos tasks (from the My Inbox and My Situations apps)
  • Favorite pages and applications
  • Key business insights

Innovations of My Home in S/4 HANA Cloud 2308 at a glance

Navigation

My Home settings are now available in each section drop down menu, in addition to the original location in the User profile menu.

The section expansion has been redesigned for a more intuitive approach. You can now expand the To Dos and Insights sections by using the “Show More”/ “Show Less” menu. Whether you are expanding or collapsing a section, the focus will always stay on that section. If you are refreshing the page, the state of the section will automatically go back to a collapsed view.

To Dos section

We added a time stamp in the To Dos section to check when your data were last refreshed and give you the option to manually refresh them to ensure you are seeing the most up to date information.

Custom News

One of the key advantages of My Home is the ability to personalize the page and with the 2308 release, you can now personalize the system news feed based on your chosen line of business.

The administrator can generate an Excel file containing the system news feed from the Release Assessment and Scope Dependency ( RASD ) tool and can then upload it in My Home by using Adapt UI in the User Profile menu.

This custom news feed will then be visible to users, and they’ll be able to decide which part of it they want to see, using the “Manage News” menu and also opt to see news that require preparation.

To be able to better organize your content, you can now create groups of favorite apps.

You can create a group by directly dragging and dropping an App on top of another one, by using the “Create Group” menu on the right of the screen, or by using the 3 dots menu directly from an App displayed in your Favorites.

You’ll be invited to enter the name of your group, to pick a color for its icon and then to select the applications that will be part of this group.

The number of applications contained in a group is indicated in the group icon.

      Hi Guru,

With SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition 2302, spaces and pages and My Home are set as default for new systems. Existing systems keep their settings, and the switch will have to be done manually in the launchpad settings. With SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition 2402, we plan to set spaces and pages and My Home as default for all systems. Details can be found in this knowledge base article and in this blog post.

      Best Regards,

      Sylvie

      Hello Sylvie,

Can we also replace the SAP logo on homepage with our company logo?

      Hello Manish,

That would be a personnalization of your SAP Fiori Launchpad, not of My Home.

The following blog post may answer your question.

      Best Regards,

      Sylvie

      Thanks for the response, Sylvie

But I am afraid if this can be done for 2-tier landscape of SAP S/4 Public cloud system.

As the landscape is being maintained by SAP.

      Hi Manish,

please vote for the following improvement request: Upload custom logo without having to use UI Theme Designer (2TV).

I guess this is what you are looking for.

Thanks and All the Best, Chris

      Dear Sylvie

thanks for this great blog post.
Regarding exporting of "Release Assessment and Scope Dependency" and upload this file to news section, I would appreciate to get some more details. If I do this I get error "File cannot be uploaded. Check the content of the uploaded file."

Thanks to add some more details to your description above.

      Hi Beat,

Thanks a lot for your feedback.

My colleague Caroline just wrote a detailed blog on that topic: https://blogs.sap.com/2023/08/17/system-news-customizing-the-my-home-news-feed/

She's describing all the steps to get the News into My Home.

Please let me know if you still have an issue, and I'll be happy to further support you.

      Best,

      Sylvie
