Student SAP Mentors sail under the same flag as the SAP Mentors as top community influencers in their university, region & SAP ecosystem. This is a mutually beneficial program where we can glean the creative juices of these millennials and they can improve their professional skills through hands-on experience. Student SAP Mentor Attributes:

Active in community

The student should be someone who is known as a community advocate; someone who’d go above and beyond the required university coursework. It could be that s/he is a rock star blogger, or it could mean that the person is someone who is known for pulling people together to achieve positive results.

Leads/mentors others

This refers to students who are not afraid to take ownership of high-impact projects and who are great at relationship-building, managing a team or building a community.

Altruistic reputation

There are many levels of altruism that represent the characteristics of a Student SAP Mentor. At the high end of the spectrum, you might see a student heading off to the far corners of the world to support the efforts of mission groups like the Red Cross. Or, at the other end of the spectrum, this could be a locally minded individual who helps other students learn about technology and how to use it to improve their lives and their communities. Since this program is voluntary, students should be fully-committed to execute their respective projects to completion.

Excellent academic and extra-curricular reputation

A Student SAP Mentor wants to pay it forward by sharing knowledge and helping others reach their full potential. Students should be able to manage time and resources so that they can excel in their respective projects and be motivated to succeed outside the scope of their university.
