Get Ready For The New SAP HANA Cloud Portal

Note: SAP HANA Cloud Portal was renamed to "SAP HANA Cloud Platform, portal service" in May 2016.

We are excited to announce the upcoming 1511 major release of SAP HANA Cloud Portal. The new release is a completely redesigned and improved version of SAP HANA Cloud Portal that brings with it major changes in the product architecture to adapt Fiori technology and concepts, tighter integration with WebIDE for advanced developer flows and new out of the box templates and business solutions.

The new functionalities will be initially delivered with the planned 1511 release for evaluation by selected customers and partners, and will become publicly available for all in 1602.

What's new in Cloud Portal

• Embrace Fiori technology and concepts - SAP UI5, WebIDE, oData, Fiori cloud edition etc.
• Leverage SAP business content (Firoi apps)
• Responsive user experience - runs on any device
• Enhanced developer flows and tools

Next steps

The new capabilities and concepts will be evaluated by selected customers and partners to collect feedback before they made available for productive use. We have defined concrete business use cases and user profiles as a prerequisite for participation.
