The summer box office is sizzling with new releases – from the family hit Inside Out to the latest in the popular action series Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation. But what’s the latest out to keep your project teams engaged with the hottest new SAP content? This summer at SAP Labs, in a theater downloadable package near you, we’ve launched our own wave of new releases of the highly rated SAP Best Practices and SAP rapid-deployment solutions (RDS).

And, like the Mission: Impossible series, our new releases keep getting better too! With each release, more input and customer feedback is folded into our content to help you adopt the right innovations as fast as Tom Cruise can learn how to hang on to the side of an airplane taking off – EXCEPT, we make it a whole lot faster and simpler for you by giving you expert guides and prescribed SAP Best Practices.

The latest feedback from over 750 customers, partners, and SAP consultants, who downloaded the packages, give SAP Best Practices and RDS a big thumbs up. In our ongoing survey, users shared their insight on the benefit and value gained by leveraging these packaged solutions for both core SAP solution deployments and new innovation implementations. When answering the question, "how likely are you to recommend this?" on a scale of 1 to 10, the aggregate star rating for RDS and Best Practices came back as 8.2!

For those keeping score at home, that's quite a bit higher than the previous score we reported earlier this year (7.8) and even higher than Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation's Internet Movie Database (IMDb) star rating of 8.0. And while 48 percent of the participants largely used the SAP ERP packages, 62 percent also used innovation packages focused on topics like cloud integration, SAP HANA, and user experience. What's even more interesting is seeing the trend of more and more users opting for an accelerated implementation (76 percent as compared to only 59 percent earlier this year), which leads to even greater cost and time savings (see below graphic).

All in all, we like the trend we are seeing and hope to keep it moving in the same direction. After all, Inside Out has an aggregate IMDb rating of 8.6, and we don't intend to let it sit so high alone. Playful movie comparisons notwithstanding, we really do want our SAP Best Practices and RDS packages to be as useful and helpful as they can be for anyone adopting any SAP adoption. Your feedback is welcome. We are listening!
