In this lesson Rob Case shows how to create value lists on SAP HANA Rules Framework...

A value list is a data type whose values are derived from a predefined list of related items. The implementer maps each value list in the vocabulary to a selectable run-time artifact (table, view, analytic view, attribute view, or calculation view) in SAP HANA, which specifies the predefined values in each list. Data object attributes can be mapped to a corresponding value list type. When business users construct conditions using the Rule Builder UI control, the auto-complete suggestion list displays the values from these closed lists. A value list can contain values of the supported data types (number, string, date, time, and timestamp). The value list can also include an optional string-based description for each value. The manner in which value lists are consumed in conditions depends on whether the value list includes value descriptions
