Calling Out To All Lumira Aficionados!
You can now install SAP Predictive Analytics on the same computer where you are already using your beloved data visualization tool, having for instance SAP Lumira 1.25 and SAP Predictive Analytics 2.2 as side-by-side power twins. (This has actually been possible since SAP PA 2.1).
Here's what a system looks like with both of them running at the same time:
For all the citizen data scientists of today, this makes it possible to combine on one-hand the powerful self-service data exploration and data visualization capabilities of SAP Lumira and on the other hand the automated data preparation, data modelling and application-embedding strengths of SAP Predictive Analysis.
For some of you this was a major pain point as both products use the same code base, so using Lumira and using or trialing Predictive was difficult.
