The formation of the SAP Silicon Valley Leadership Circle came at a critical time for us in the Silicon Valley. With rapid innovation and a growing employee network, the Leadership Circle was established to ensure better collaboration, faster decision-making and a strong leadership commitment to Run Simple.

Given the diversity of SAP’s presence in the Valley, we needed a group of leaders with proven reputations for driving innovation, fostering healthy culture, developing employees, and building a strong community. The executives elected; Jonathan Becher, Quentin Clark, Jenny Dearborn, Roger Quinlan, Tanja Rueckert and David Swanson, will serve as inaugural members of this new SAP Silicon Valley Leadership Circle.

The group was officially announced during the SAP Silicon Valley All-Hands, held on January 15, 2015. The packed event, with a combined total of almost 1,000 people, filled each room to capacity in our Palo Alto, Dublin, Sunnyvale, and South San Francisco offices, and another 600 watched online, as the Leadership Circle addressed their plans for the future. The response was impressive, as people cheered on their new leaders and began to ask questions and collaborate, bringing forward suggestions for change and improvement.

With the support of our Leadership Circle, we will continue to rapidly develop the innovations and advances in products expected from the Silicon Valley.
