Located at the epicenter of breakthrough technology, SAP Labs Silicon Valley encapsulates the innovative spirit of the Silicon Valley, Diversity of Northern California and the global ecosystem of SAP, the majority of which is centrally located in our backyard.

Over the next two weeks, we will showcase our stories of innovation--highlighting achievements and successes--told by our passionate employees who make SAP run.

SAP Labs Silicon Valley has contributed to major technical and product successes, and has been donned by many as the center of innovation. Within the last few years we have through constant collaboration between employees, customers and partners in the Silicon Valley, launched some of the most prominent technology innovations at SAP.

The success of SAP Labs Silicon Valley is prevalent in its massive growth from just 25 employees to 2,000 in 10 years, and from 2,000 to 4,000 in just the last four years. Starting in Palo Alto and expanding throughout the Bay Area – South San Francisco, San Francisco, Sunnyvale, and Dublin -- SAP has built a strong presence of innovation in the Silicon Valley

As we leap into 2015 -- with approximately 4,000 employees, spread across five campuses – SAP Silicon Valley continues to maintain a start-up mindset, focused on freethinking and the development of technology innovations at a global level.

As the Vice President of SAP Silicon Valley, it is the mission of our organization to fuse our five campuses together to foster teamwork, innovation and continued growth. We took a strong step forward in this mission by creating the SAP Silicon Valley Leadership Circle. This initiative will provide our employees in the Silicon Valley a voice and a support system from a passionate group of leaders.

We continue to keep our employees engaged, not only in work, but also the things that matter to them. February launches our scott.leatherman/blog/2015/01/29/sap-silicon-valley-month-of-inclusionhttp: employee engagement initiative, in which we encourage employees to explore their story while aligning their personal values to their work.

We look forward to the continued success of SAP Labs Silicon Valley. We are moving fast here in the valley – a great place for employees to learn and engage is our local Jam site and of course friends of SAP can engage via our local twitter account @SAPsv.
