Normally I would not recommend mixing martini's and trying to fly a plane. But at the SaKP's "Cloud 9 till Nine" event @TechEd, we wanted to make sure that our participants understand, that working with SAP Best Practices for the Cloud would be just as fun, simple and predictable as mixing martinis and flying paper planes.

With over 100 attendees participating, both Bjoern Goerke (EVP & Corporate Officer, SAP Product & Innovation Technology, SAP SE) and Elvira Wallis (SVP of Solution and Knowledge Packaging) delivered their "fact of matter" take on how essential and simple it is to start your Cloud journey with SAP’s Rapid Deployment Solutions and Best Practices for Cloud Deployment, Cloud Integration and Cloud Migration. Fans of Bjoern enjoyed his infectious enthusiasm and kept his audience rapt, while delivering SAP’s vision for the Cloud

Obviously, the proof of this “RDS – Best Practices for Cloud” pudding lies in showcasing successful customer outcomes and therefore, the event also covered our recent “Cloud for People” success story.  Medical device manufacturer KARL STORZ leveraged the “SAP ERP HCM Integration to SuccessFactors RDS“  for their hybrid deployment of SuccessFactors Talent Management Solution on the Cloud  and to integrate it back with their SAP HCM On- Premise System. The audience learnt about KARL STORZ’s ( North America) implementation experience from Donna Leong-Cohen (Coeus Consulting ), one of SaKP’s Co-Innovation  partners. The event was a perfect occasion to expose customers to the “SAP ERP HCM Integration to SuccessFactors RDS" package, which the customers found to be a terrific gateway to cover several of their integration needs between the SAP On Premise footprint and SuccessFactors HCM Solutions for the Cloud.
