TechEd or De-Code - who cares as long as it is 'THE' Technical Conference from SAP and it is in Vegas?! Along with the days, the evenings will also be well spent
The Location:
That's already answered. It's Vegas. Having attended TechEds earlier, although in Bangalore, this will be my first TechEd in Vegas and I am super excited - my favorite Conference at my favorite Destination!
Your Plan:
With HANA planned for the next year and most of our Systems running on AS ABAP, I am still trying to find a good balance between the HANA, the ABAP Application Server Admin and the SolMan Sessions. Below are My Picks from a Basis perspective, taking into consideration the above factors. There are a other good sessions on AS Java but that's not where my focus would be.
Love the Hands-On Workshops and Reservations for two of them are just not enough

What you’re looking forward to the most:
1. I have been reading blogs from boris.rubarth on the DMO for Migration to HANA for almost a year and now am looking forward to the Hands-On Session from the man himself. And yes, Migrations are my personal favorite as well as area of expertise.
2. Since I have attended the Hands-On Workshop on HANA Operations for Beginners earlier, I am looking forward to the one for Experts this time.
Advice for first timers (optional):
You might have realized by now that it is next to Impossible to fit all the Sessions you want to attend into your Schedule. The best option is that you select Backup Sessions in advance; so that in case you find any of the sessions you attend not what you were hoping for, you can quietly sneak out and attend the other Session. I know Basis guys always talks about Backups, but believe me, this works
Cheers!
