SAP Lumira Extension Challenge - The Hackathon! 20 August, SAP Labs Bangalore

WOW.. there were more than 135 students from close to 10 colleges in Bangalore at SAP Labs Bangalore on 20 August to take part in the SAP Lumira Hackathon.

So that was this event all about?

SAP Lumira Hackathon 2014 provided a unique platform to encourage student programmers, developers to come together and code cool ideas, collaborate with some amazing technical minds and walk away with awesome prizes.To win, the participants built & submitted an SAP Lumira extension from the challenge categories in an intense 10 hours coding burst that involved 150 participants from different Engineering colleges across Bangalore.

The event gave a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate ideas and imagination and show off presentation skills to SAP recruitment team and senior technology leaders who were actively involved in the event. This was a great venue to come build and collaborate with friends and technology experts. The participants could participate both as an individual or as team.

At the end of the day , every participating team got 2 minutes to pitch their creation and convince their winning strike in front of Lumira Judges panel who are data scientists, technology heads and HR representatives. The winning teams walked away with cool gadgets and a fantastic  opportunity to present the
wining demo at SAP Techniversity 2014 at New Delhi in front of more than 2000 students from different universities all over India.
