SAP NetWeaver VC UI5 is GA with NW 731 SP 11 and NW 740 SP 6 – Deprecated

SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer UI5 (such a long name :wink: , so may I call it VC5 ?)

Is available for NetWeaver customers as part of NW 731 SP11 and NW 740 SP6.

There is no extra cost for using VC , so you can start to use it immediately to create beautiful SAP UI5 applications

That can run on your desktop and tablets. You do not need to code anything .Just drag , drop , connect , configure, and your application

Can run within few hours.

So with our new VC5 you can choose if you want to create a WD app or UI5 app. You have to choose the RunTime when creating a new model.

VC WD has BI connector and full integration with BPM and can work with complicated WebServices.

Here we currently have some limitations with VC5 which cannot work with the BI connector, has no integration with BPM and can work only with simple web services.

But , we are waiting to hear from you and actually really looking forward to get your feedback and help us prioritize our development process according to our customers’ requirements.

So please help us to help you.

The clip below show a simple app with 1 service and 3 UI elements but if you know VC , you know that the sky is the limit , and if you don’t know , maybe it is time to give it a try …..
