New Version of the SAP HANA Native Storage Extension Whitepaper available!
SAP HANA Native Storage Extension (NSE) adds a natively integrated, intelligent disk-based processing extension to the SAP HANA 2 and SAP HANA Cloud in-memory database. NSE helps to reduce the memory data footprint in SAP HANA and lowers the TCO, while NSE data is always an integrated part of the database.
The SAP HANA NSE was introduced in SAP HANA Platform 2.0 SPS04. The new version of the whitepaper covers in detail all the NSE feature capabilities up to SAP HANA Platform 2.0 SPS07, as well as SAP HANA Cloud including QRC3 2023.
We are using Hana On-Premise. Does enabling SAP HANA NSE need an extra license cost?
No. There are no additional license costs for NSE.
