Mobile devices and apps are shaping the future of business and redefining how we connect and interact with the world. If you’re keen to future-proof your organization with the help of the latest mobile technologies, you’re in for a treat this year at SAP TechEd! We have put together a total of 12 sessions on mobile to help you realize your ideas, wherever you are. Gear up for a journey into the mobile universe, where innovation knows no bounds.
For everyone joining TechEd online
With our global audience, we’re going to tackle the hottest topic of the year – AI. In this lecture, learn how you can create a chatbot to support your users harnessing the power of Large Language Models (LLM) and adopt it in your mobile apps. We will be using the SAP Ariba Shopping app as an example to share with you our best tips and tricks using Generative AI.
For everyone looking to optimize business processes on the go
The perfect place to start is our mini theatre session See How Our Mobile Apps, Running on SAP BTP, Support Digital Transformation (XP508). Get a comprehensive overview of SAP’s mobile app portfolio and how these mobile apps can accelerate your organization’s digital transformation.
Then, dive deeper into a selection of our mobile apps. SAP Mobile Start is your native entry point to SAP’s mobile apps. Join our hands-on workshop (DT162) to discover how to set it up with SAP S/4HANA, how to add your apps, and how to configure SAP Mobile Start to meet your organization’s unique needs.
While SAP Mobile Start was crafted for every organization and a wide variety of personas, the rest of the app portfolio caters to specific industries. In the demo session Mobile Apps Using Procode: SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Warehouse Operator (AD914), you can discover two apps SAP has built for two specific personas – salespeople and warehouse operators – using pro-code and how these apps optimize business processes and maximize productivity for these personas on the go.
Before you leave the arena, make sure to stop by our demo booth Modern UX for the Mobile Intelligent Enterprise, powered by SAP BTP. There, you’ll get to know how SAP leverages the new Fiori design language to produce the best-in-class user experience for our users, and, more importantly, how you can do the same for yours.
For developers
TechEd is where great minds come together to get crafty. Join our hands-on session (XP161) to find out how easy it is to build a mobile SAP Build app and to provide your users with it via SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition and SAP Mobile Start.

Hello Thilo Berndt and thanks for the Blog.
When reading about Mobile Services Pricing on discovery-center.cloud.sap for the "Resources (Tiered Edition)" Plan, it states that "A Resource is a unique individual or non-human asset accessing or being managed by the cloud service".
Can you please confirm what is meant by "accessing or being managed by the cloud service" ?
Does this mean that a 'Resource' is only a CURRENTLY connected User/Machine that is "accessing ... the cloud service" ? In other words, we only have to count concurrent/connected Users/Machines for Mobile Services licensing requirements ?
Thanks, Cameron
Hi Cameron,
you can find more details at. our Documentation. Mobile Service will count active users. So that is users which are connecting to mobile services. Mobile srvices does not care how many apps a user has nor how many devices. This is for authenticated users (resources)
