Exploring the Benefits of Multiple Specifications in Inspection Lot Creation
Purpose
Multi-Specification Inspection in SAP allows you to inspect a batch of material against multiple inspection specifications. It’s helpful in case you want to test with groupings for various clients or various country prerequisites, each with its own specific requirements.
One of the primary conditions of this step is multiple specifications, and these many specifications could be customer requirements, Pharmacopeia or regulatory needs, country-specific legal requirements, or internal business needs.
For example, a business could have a production process making an item for several clients where each one would have its very own particular limit. In this way, the company could generate one inspection plan with multiple specifications and design a separate Inspection Plan for each customer. Once an inspection lot is opened at the creation time of such a batch of material, it would then allow the inspector to choose the relevant specs to deliver that material to that customer.
Another example is a manufacturing company that operates in various geographies and has different regional regulations for its product offerings. The company may develop an inspection plan into which many of these multiple specification documents are inserted — in effect, one inspection plan per region. When making an inspection lot for a batch of goods, the inspector may define the appropriate specifications of the region to which the batch will ship.
Different quality criteria can be verified in multiple specifications to test batches of materials simultaneously. For example, a company can make a product where the quality differs. The company could even build one Inspection Plan containing multiple specifications (one per level). When creating an inspection lot to evaluate a material batch, the inspector may choose the relevant specifications for your material type.
By using multiple specifications the efficiency and accuracy of the inspection process can be enhanced. This will also aid in making sure that your products satisfy the particular requirements of your clients and the countries where you deliver.

- To enable multiple specifications for the inspection plan, go to the Quality Management tab. Scroll right until you see the “Multiple Specs” column. Check the boxes for your inspection plan.

Create Material Task List
To include multiple specifications objects in an inspection plan, you must create a separate material-task list assignment for each object.
To do this, select the entire line of the inspection plan and go to Task Lists -> Material Task List Assignments, or click the light bulb icon under the Material column.

I did all of the above steps, using my own MS Object. But I am getting a failed result for an MS point even though my result is within its limits.
