Release Navigator for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition 2308
You can now access the latest innovations for the release navigator for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition by SAP Enterprise Support, which includes new content, and new user-experience (UX) elements (see Figure 1: Release Navigator Home page). We appreciate your ongoing efforts to provide feedback so we can continuously improve your experience.

Simplified User-Experience
Navigation Menu
One of the key requests and updates that we are pleased to share is the streamlined content search and new organization of information into four pages (see Figure 2: Navigation Menu & Translation), which you can access via the new Navigation Menu. You will now be able to move faster between these pages and access all the varied topics you require.

The four new pages to navigate between are:
- Home
- Lines of Business
- Industries
- Cross-Topics
Use Case: If you would like to find the latest release content for Finance, you can now use the Navigation Menu to select Lines of Business (LoB’s), where you can filter down on the finance specific release content. Then, if you need to find more information on SAP Activate, you can use the Navigation Menu to click on Cross-Topics to find that particular topic.
Home page
On the Home page, you can now access the Release Navigator Resources tile that contains all content relevant to the release navigator for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition which includes, an Overview Video, a 2308 Updates Guided Tour, 2308 Release Ready Kit, and a link to this blog. We have also implemented the new UX element, Release Resource Tile Descriptions which is accessible by selecting the Information icon next to the new Navigation Menu, and provides more details on the content on that page (see Figure 1: Release Navigator Home page).
The Release Schedule tile has been updated with new events and resources for you to review, replacing the original Release Calendar (see Figure 1: Release Navigator Home page).
These are the new events you will find on the Release Schedule tile:
- Preliminary What’s New Viewer content update (linked)
- Release to Test systems (2SL resources available)
- Release to Starter & Partner Demo systems (3SL resources available)
One additional tile you will notice is the Release Enablement Sessions tile (see Figure 1: Release Navigator Home page) with three different digital events led by the SAP Product Success & Cloud Co-Innovation team:
- Early Release Series
- In-Depth Series
- Product Update Series
The Topic Request & Feedback Survey tile has been moved to the bottom of the page where you can now also find these new tiles (see Figure 1: Release Navigator Home page):

Automated Translation
For more accessibility, SAP Enable Now provides automatic translation via the SAP Translation Hub (see Figure 2: Navigation Menu & Translation), which covers over 30+ languages. Please note that pages may take a few seconds to fully translate to the target language, and design elements may be impacted.
Topic Filters on LoB, Industry, & Cross-Topic pages
When you are exploring the LoB’s, Industries or Cross Topics page, you can find a new Topic Filter that is located next to the Navigation Menu (see Figure 3: LoB page/Topic Filter). To explore additional topics, just click the Topic Filter, check the box next to the subject you want to view, and then utilize the available documentation.

Accessing the Release Navigator
The release navigator for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition is accessible through the SAP Enterprise Support value map for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition.
Value maps provide self-paced learnings, expert-led live sessions, collaborative forums, and access to SAP experts; all included as part of your SAP Cloud Solution subscription.
3 Easy Steps:
- Complete a one-time sign-up for the SAP Learning Hub, edition for SAP Enterprise Support, that is required
- Access value maps
- Navigate to the SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition value map and access under the Upgrade section
