Credit Checks for Solution Orders


Credit checks can be performed against the payer of solution orders. When you release a solution order, you will be notified about the credit check results.

You have the following benefits:


  • Enable customers to use credit management in sales items, so that the solution can be provided without financial risk



  • Enable customers to use credit management in service order and service contract items, so that the solution can be provided without financial risk


  • Avoid revenue loss by checking creditability of your customers before delivery


You have now the following possibilities:

  • Process sales order, created from a solution order, which are blocked due to credit check with negative result

  • Enhance the orchestration in a way that the solution order sales item gets updated in case of a negative result

  • Same functionality applies to Service Orders and Service Contracts that are created from a solution order

  • Provide new situation in case solution order orchestration results in a negative credit check

Mass Creation of Business Solution Orders


Solution Orders reflect complex offerings to a customer, often including many different item types. With rising complexity, creating such orders is increasingly time-consuming and error prone.

Especially, when a solution order specialist has to manually process multiple orders, lower efficiency and effectiveness are unavoidable.

These negative effects can be mitigated by a bot for the automated mass creation of solution orders.

You have the following benefits:

  • Less manual effort when creating solution orders

  • Lower error rate


You have now the following possibilities:

  • The bot monitors various input channels, e.g., mail box or folder on file system for incoming excel files

  • Extracts the raw data from the excel files

  • Builds solution order structures, including header attributes, items and item attributes

  • Calls the Solution Order API of SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition to automatically create multiple solution orders based on the extracted information

  • After processing is done, the bot sends an email notification with the log file.

Refinement of Profit-Center Determination in Solution Orders (Release 2302.3)


You have now the following possibilities:

  • Allow solution-order specialists to trigger determination of a profit center for different components of a solution orders, such as sales or service

  • Enable solution-order specialists to adjust a derived profit center on the item level of the corresponding component

  • Enhance transfer of the determined profit center from a solution order to the follow-up transaction, in solution-order orchestration

  • Enable sales order processing to use the passed on profit center for integration into financial accounting

  • Enable invoicing specialists to use the passed-on profit center for integration into financial accounting

Enhanced Text Handling for Better Support of Notes in Solution Orders


This new innovation enables customers to add additional texts as notes in the solution orders for follow-up documents in sales and service.

You have now the following possibilities:

  • Business Users are enabled to capture different texts in the assignment block for notes on solution order header level, and for the item type in sales.

  • The text procedure of the corresponding item types are now supported with multiple different text types on header and item level.

  • The entered texts are forwarded in orchestration to the follow-on transactions with a corresponding mapping per text-type.

  • Texts, which are captured manually in solution orders have priority over automatically determined texts in the follow-up transaction
