SAP Inside Track Chennai – 2023
One of the well spent saturday will be 22nd July 2023 at the SAP Inside track chennai. I was lucky enough to be part of the Speaking delegates.
As i was entering the Tidel Park gate, i saw there were sign boards on the SAP Inside track and the security personnel greeted me and ask if was for the event. I was surprised and was happy that every one were been well informed and preparations have been done to avoid any inconvenience.
As i reached the main entrance there were couple of volunteers to recive and take me to the speaker registration desk and provided all the goodies and merchandise.
As the event was about to start , was happy to see many of the friends Mahesh Palavalli Ruthvik Chowdary @prasath elumalai. Also met the Senthamarai Kannan Thamarai Selvam who is now spearheading the kannanware firm and Raj
The event started with key note from Sindhu Gangadharan speaking on the community initiativies and colloboration.
The next key note was by Dharani Karthikeyan who spoke on the data analytics and also the large role the enterprises are looking for. Her message of getting your hand dirt on the analytics will be need of hour and will be one of they key take away.
The next key note was followed by @selvakumar rajendaran.
This was followed by the Trend topics by Aravind manii from @s2integrators and Dineshkumar & Nagi Shetty from Truspeq.
After the key note we had a panel discussion with all the keynote speaker.
Once the Panel discussion was over there were 3 tracks that were planned in parallel.
Track 1 – Functional Topics
Track 2- Technical Topics
Track 3- Techno Functional Topics.
I continuted to stay on the Track 1 and the First session was started by Ruthvik Chowdary on the DDMRP, which is the latest buzz word on the supply chain. It was very informative and happy to hear from the SAP champion.
The next topic on this track was on the “Digital Procruement Spend Analytics” by Sai Sudha Natarajan from Cognizant.
He core involment on this topic was completely demonstrated on the flow on which she was explaning all the nunaces and the business case was amazing.
With this session the 1st half came to an end and all were provided with a delicious lunch.
Post lunch we started the session with the Panel discussion on the women empowerment with Shanthi Mani @kannan did an amazing job on moderating the complete discussion.
This discussion concluded with a group photo with all diversity folks
This session was followed by experience sharing of the SAP hana IMplementation at the NLC which is one of the largest Public sector entity in india.
This was presented by the Chief General manager MR.Solomon Luther king. The key take away was on the system testing that they have performed to keep the system stable and cross valdiate the employee salary processed for more than 10K + employees.
Post this i had my session to present on the Topic of SAP – S4 Hana – Advance variant configuration.
After my event i could not spare much time till the closing as i was heading back to Bangalore i was running late to travel back.
It was a well spent saturday meeting lot of old friends from SAP community. I was also happy that the first event which was started in 2012 with just 45 People and the next big one was in 2014 and now it is growing in Bigway. Kudos to the organizers and sure i am seeing a potential that chennai will cross all numbers soon in terms of participation.
