ABAP CodeRetreat

Hey there, ABAP enthusiasts! Guess what? The ABAP CodeRetreat is back in action, and we couldn’t be more excited. We’ve missed the buzz, the code, and most importantly, the community. So, let’s dive right back into it!

The ABAP CodeRetreat is more than just a coding event. It’s a celebration of continuous learning, a testament to the power of community, and a chance to sharpen your ABAP skills. Whether you’re a seasoned developer or a newbie just dipping your toes into the ABAP waters, this is the place for you.

Why, you ask? Well, let’s talk about the elephant in the room – continuous learning. In the tech world, standing still is moving backward. There’s always something new to learn, a better way to code, a more efficient algorithm. And what better way to stay on top of your game than by learning together?

At the ABAP CodeRetreat, we believe in the power of community. We’re not just a group of developers; we’re more, we are a real community. We share, we learn, and we grow together. Got a question? Ask away. Stuck on a tricky piece of code? There’s always someone ready to lend a hand. It’s all about collaboration and knowledge sharing.

For new ABAP developers, this is your chance to learn from the best. You’ll get to participate in pair-programming sessions, receive just-in-time code reviews, and soak up invaluable tips and tricks from the community.

Experienced ABAP developers, you’re not left out. This is your opportunity to refine your skills, learn new techniques, and share your knowledge with others. You’ll also get to network with other developers and broaden your professional connections.

And for our senior-level developers, this is your platform to mentor the next generation of ABAP developers. Share your wisdom, guide the newbies, and learn from the fresh perspectives they bring. Plus, you’ll get to stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in ABAP.

And let’s not forget the experts. Our retreats are graced by some of the best minds in the ABAP world. It’s a golden opportunity to learn from the best, to ask your questions, and to get insights you won’t find anywhere else.

Now, let’s talk about the SAP Community. Being active in a community like this is not just about learning and sharing. It’s about being part of something bigger. It’s about contributing to a collective knowledge base, helping others, and growing both personally and professionally. The community thrives on the active participation of its members. So, don’t just be a spectator, be a contributor. Share your insights, ask questions, help others, and watch as the community helps you in return. After all, we’re stronger together!

So, are you ready to dive back into the world of ABAP? Are you ready to learn, share, and grow? Then join us at the ABAP CodeRetreat. We can’t wait to code with you!

I went along to something similar to one of these a few years ago, concerning Test Driven Development. Despite not being very fluent in German (well, fluent, but very incorrect), I got a lot out of it. I recommend them.

      Thanks for the update, Damir!

Is there another way to keep current on or sign-up for planned code retreats than meetup.com? I don't really "need" yet another registration to keep track of 🙂

Could the code retreats perhaps get their own tag in the events group you link to?

      Thanks much and Cheers
