Retrospective: SAP Switzerland Hackathon Team Swisslife

💢 Currently 300 new Leads are created every day in C4C production. These are assigned manually from Sales Managers to Consultants, based on the address or other complex criteria. It takes approximately 2 minutes for each lead to be assigned. In total, 600 Minutes per day with costs around 900 CHF.

💡 The team’s objective within the SAP Hackathon was to automate the process and eliminate cost and time. For that, they developed a service in BTP – CAP which receives the notification of each Lead Creation.

In a further stage, they deployed Switzerland addresses on Hana Cloud DB. Consequently, when a new lead comes in, a notification is generated which triggers the lead owner determination and assignment process.

🚀 The solution is scalable on future Business Units which will go live within the next months, and it can also be adapted to other objects like products suggestion.

The team composed of Patricia Borromeo, Sokratis Papachristos, Jan Sipkovsky accompanied by their coach Nico Wyss could successfully tackled this issue!

That being said, we come to the end of this team presentation marathon, because you have seen the winning team already live on stage at SAP NOW in Zürich 🙂
