Release Navigator for Spend Management and Business Network by SAP Enterprise Support
Harmonizing Cloud Release Content for You
Locating all necessary information for a solutions release can be time-consuming and overwhelming. The complexity of this task increases when you have multiple cloud solutions with different release dates, varying release resources, and multiple places to find necessary information. This effort can add more time, energy, and can cause frustration to what should be an exciting time in your cloud solutions lifecycle. We are helping simplify release readiness for you and this is why the Readiness@Scale team at SAP launched the release navigator for Spend Management and Business Network!
Now you can achieve maximum business value from your cloud solution and keep innovation moving with the latest intelligent capabilities by sustainably adopting new release innovations and functionalities with our expert guidance.

Minimizing the Effort
The release navigator consolidates essential release content from SAP Product Engineering, Release Readiness, Product Success, SAP Learning, SAP Enterprise Support, and other areas across the SAP ecosystem organized by solutions in Spend Management and Business Network. Accessing the release content has never been simpler. A built-in guided tour, created with native SAP Enable Now software, you’ll be instructed on how to use the various tools and websites to locate appropriate content when a release comes. The release navigator will have updates that align with the major releases for Spend Management and Business Network solutions and those dates can be found within the Release Events tile of the homepage (see Figure 1: My Home). At launch the following solutions will have specific release content provided.
- SAP Ariba Procurement
- SAP Business Network
- SAP Concur
Simple & Familiar Navigation
Staying true to our innovative user experience, this new resource follows design concepts from the familiar SAP Fiori Morning Horizon theme for ease of use. The Homepage is divided into three main sections with corresponding tiles for easy navigation.
Sections:
- Messages: Contains important information for you to read, and new users have the
option to take the guided tour around the release navigator to become familiar with
basic usage principles - Quick Tools: get your guided tour on the release navigator, stay up to date with the release navigator blog, give feedback and topic requests.
- Release Preparation: Select the desired solution and dive into the release content provided!
- Additional SAP Resources: SAP offers many other resources outside of releases from learning journeys to tutorials, and Podcasts to Value Maps. All resources are free to customers and should be taken advantage of to increase your SAP experience.
Where to Access
The release navigator for Spend Management and SAP Business Network will be accessible through the SAP Enterprise Support value map for Spend Management and Business Network.
Value maps provide self-paced learnings, expert-led live sessions, collaborative forums, and access to SAP experts; all included as part of your SAP Cloud Solution subscription.

- Navigate to the Spend Management and Business Network value map to access the release navigator
