Welcome to our blog series about SAP Subscription Billing’s new features!
This week we are happy to share several features that were recently released: End-of-month rule for the pricing of subscriptions, integration with SAP Cloud ALM and updates on our integration with Convergent Invoicing. Let’s have a look together in detail:

End-of-month rule for the pricing of subscriptions

You can now define an end-of-month rule for anniversary-billed subscriptions starting on the 29th, 30th, or 31st of a month and thus specify the period from which the subscription is billed. You can choose between starting the month following the subscription start or starting from the current cycle.

Learn more, see the section End-of-Month Rule in Billing Cycle or have a look in our blog post

Integration with SAP Cloud ALM

SAP Subscription Billing now provides out-of-box integration with SAP Cloud ALM for integration and exception monitoring of business partner and product replication.

For more information, see Monitor in SAP Cloud ALM in Integration with SAP Master Data Integration.

Updates on Integration with Convergent Invoicing

For both SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP S/4HANA, the integration scenario Subscription Management with Convergent Invoicing (scope item 5IK) now allows you to determine field derivation schemas for billable items in Convergent Invoicing from the condition type of a charge or credit. Previously you could only determine the derivation schema from the rating type.

For configuration instructions, see:
