SAP Fiori app “Sales Order Fulfilment”

To optimize the sales order fulfillment, you need to extract key information to understand the current situation or identify a root cause. The way the data is presented is crucial for giving them the insights they need to take the right action. Therefore, this SAP Fiori app “Sales Order Fulfilment” is based on Analytical List Page.

Analytical List Page

The analytical list page (ALP) offers a unique way to analyze data step by step from different perspectives, investigate a root cause through drill-down, and act on transactional content. All this can be done seamlessly within one page. The purpose of the analytical list page is to identify interesting areas within datasets or significant single instances using data visualization and business intelligence.

Visualizations help users to recognize facts and situations and reduce the number of interaction steps needed to gain insights or to identify significant single instances. Chart visualization increases the joy of use and enables users to spot relevant data more quickly.

The main target group is users who work on transactional content. They benefit from fully transparent business object data and direct access to business actions. In addition, they have access to analytical views and functions without having to switch between systems. These include KPIs, a visual filter where filter values are enriched by measures and visualizations, and a combined table/chart view with drill-in capabilities (hybrid view). Users can interact with the chart to dig deep into the data. The visualization enables them to identify spikes, deviations, and abnormalities more quickly, and to take appropriate action right away.

Key Features

The SAP Fiori app Sales Order Fulfilment is an SAP Smart Business cockpit that allows you to resolve issues that impede sales orders from being fulfilled. The cockpit offers you a list of all sales orders that cannot be completed for one or more reasons. The cockpit highlights impediments and provides supporting information and specific options to resolve issues. This allows you to monitor sales orders in critical stages, collaborate with internal and external contacts, and efficiently address issues to ensure that sales orders in critical stages are fulfilled as fast as possible.

For the following types of issues, you use the cockpit to monitor, resolve and collaborate:

  • Incomplete data

  • Unconfirmed quantities

  • Credit blocks

  • Billing blocks

  • Delivery blocks in sales orders and other delivery issues

  • Shipping blocks in deliveries and other shipping issues

  • Invoice issues and accounting issues for invoices

  • Issues in supply, purchase orders, and manufacturing orders

Calculation of Due Days

The due days (the days shown in the issue list for the next item in days) show the number of days calculated from today until the next process step is due, in order to fulfill a sales order. This next process step depends on the issue category (whether the issue you want to resolve occurs in the sales order, in supply, in the delivery, or in the invoice), and on the issue type (such as delivery block, billing block, or invoice issue). Depending on this, the system uses different dates to calculate the due days (such as the product availability date, the shipping date, the picking date, or the billing date).

Examples:

  • For a sales order with a delivery block, the next step would be the creation of the delivery document. For the calculation of the due days, the system uses the next product availability date from the schedule lines of the sales order.

  • For a sales order for which the delivery has already taken place, but the payment terms are still missing, the next step would be billing. For the calculation of the due days, the system uses the billing date of the delivery that has not yet been invoiced.

SAP Fiori app “Track Sales Order Details”

With the Sales Order Fulfillment - Analyze and Resolve Issues, you can analyze and resolve issues that impede sales orders from being fulfilled. With it, you can analyze sales orders in critical stages, collaborate with contacts, and efficiently address issues to ensure that sales orders in critical stages are fulfilled as quickly as possible. Picture 2: Visualize the sales order fulfillment status of a specific sales order (with or without issues) with the help of a process flow and a tree structure.

Key Features:

With this SAP Fiori app Track Sales Order Details, you can visualize the sales order fulfillment status of a specific sales order (with or without issues) with the help of a process flow and a tree structure.

The process flow displays the fulfillment of the sales order in the corresponding process phases (for example, order processing, delivery processing, and so on). If issues occur, these are highlighted in the relevant process phases of the process flow. You can also see the most important statuses (for example, shipping status), and further information (for example, net value and requested delivery date) at a glance.

The tree structure contains the sales order, its subsequent documents, and issues (if these occur). You can view more details for each sales document or issue by selecting the required node in the tree structure.
