Process Discovery for SAP S/4HANA Transformation and SAP Innovation and Optimization Pathfinder on Spotlight have been supporting your lines of business in achieving their operational efficiency objectives. SAP Signavio does not stop there but continue to develop alongside you. That is why we would like to present our new significantly improved solution – SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition, which will replace Process Discovery and Pathfinder on Spotlight.
This offering is still free of charge and currently beta phase.
What is new?
Developing SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition, we heard your latest needs. That is why the new solution includes not only the features from Process Discovery, Pathfinder and Spotlight, but also new features.
More importantly, it contains the following new capabilities:
- Understand where a potential process issue comes from (screenshot 1 below)
- Filter the insights to focus on a particular area (screenshot 2 below)
- 1 Process Flow with related blockers (screenshot 3 below)
- Correction recommendations for fixing some of the identified issues on your SAP system now
- Much more innovation recommendations available, with tailor-made selection based on the usage of your system among more than 750 capabilities
SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition will replace Process Discovery later this year. But you will still have the access to your analysis on Spotlight until the end of the year. We will inform you regularly in the future when your analysis is due to be discontinued.
SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition is the ideal first step for your process analysis. It contains the same user interface and experience as well as the same capabilities than SAP Signavio Process Insights (full edition), but with a limited scope.

How to order the new offering?
To get this new analysis, you just need to do a new extraction (you will need to implement the latest version of the SAP Notes 2758146 and 2745851) and execute a new request for SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition at this link: SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition request page.
The technical prerequisite for ST-A/PI is version 01U, SP3 minimum.
There is no EhP version prerequisite (from EhP 0 to EhP 😎
