New Features in SAP Subscription Billing (2023-04-17)
Welcome to our blog series about SAP Subscription Billing’s new features!
This week we’re happy to share several features that were recently released: a new UI design for charge details in bills, a new setting for custom references, forecast usage data in the app, further Horizon themes, and last but not least, event objects that are no longer beta. Let’s have a look together in detail:
New Design for Detailed Charge Information in Bills
In the Manage Billing Data app, information about charge or credits in a bill is now structured in a more streamlined way. A compact list of charges or credits gives you a clearer overview:
And you can then navigate to further details for each charge or credit:
Value Help for Custom References
You can now choose the predefined custom reference IDs from the value help when you maintain the customer reference for an object, such as a subscription or a product. This option improves data quality.
You define the possible values for the custom reference in the Manage Business Configuration app under Custom References.
Manage Forecast Usage Data in the App
In the Manage Usage Records app, you can now maintain forecast usage data. You can create, update and delete forecast usage records on the usage detail page.
For more information about forecast usage records, see Usage Data in Rating on the SAP Help Portal.
New Horizon Themes
The launchpad of SAP Subscription Billing now supports more Horizon visual themes:
- Evening Horizon
- High Contrast Black (SAP Horizon)
- High Contrast White (SAP Horizon)
You find all the themes available for the launchpad in your profile under Settings > Appearance.
