In the last year since working for SAP, I’ve probably had a version of this conversation around one hundred times

“I work for SAP.”

“Oh, I’ve been working in their systems for around 10 to 20 years. What do you create training on specifically?”

“Well, I mostly operate in their cloud-offerings under the SAP BTP suite of products.”

“Huh?”

If you can relate to this experience, then this article is for you. Like all cutting-edge technology companies, we’ve had the unique position to enter the cloud space, but pre-existing customers, partners, and organizations might find themselves a bit lost in being able to understand the products that we offer as it evolves.

In the past, the only way to better understand these products was to invest in an install, send yourself to training, and hire a consultant to walk you through this process. With today’s cloud-based offerings, the days of limited options are over.

SAP Learning offers online training – completely for free – that may assist you in upskilling yourself to become a cloud professional with SAP software. Consider starting off by discovering SAP’s Business Technology Platform in this brief, beginner-level learning journey. Your natural next step would be to learn about the SAP integration suite in this slightly more advanced learning journey.

If you think our cloud offerings are for you, consider our Pay-As-You-Go or CPEA (cloud-credit) payment model, which allows for little or no upfront investment, and access to free tier services to let you explore which products are for you – all with quick installs on our cutting edge, cloud-based, secure platform.

If you have an SAP Universal ID, the SAP BTP trial is an additional alternative to get first hands-on experience.  SAP BTP trial systems addresses the needs of individual learners and event participants without any commercial or business context.

No SAP Universal ID yet? Create an SAP Universal ID on the SAP homepage in a few minutes by choosing the Log On icon in the upper right corner.

The future is in the cloud, so don’t let yourself or your organization fall behind. So, the next time someone says they think they know SAP, tell them to think again

Fill the gap through upskilling and enjoy SAP’s learning offerings on the SAP Learning site. This article is created and brought to you by SAP Product Learning CoE experts!
