How Far is the Horizon for SAP Cloud Identity Services?

Not far anymore. It’s right here – as of now SAP Fiori’s visual theme Horizon is available for the administration console of SAP Cloud Identity Services after in 2022 it was implemented for the end-user screens of Identity Authentication.

What is the Horizon theme

It was November 2021 when SAP introduced the new modern Horizon theme, an evolution of the SAP Fiori design system. Some of the theme’s benefits are:

  • modern and fresh look with a new vibrant color palette meeting the WCAG 2.2 accessibility standard
  • clear and consistent across all platforms with a new icon set
  • friendly and approachable by using rounded corners and softer shapes

You can find more about the Horizon theme in Thomas Reiss blog post SAP Fiori Evolution: Horizon Now Generally Available in UI Technologies and Some Products | SAP Blogs.

What’s new for the Administration Console

March 2023 – the Horizon theme is available for the administration console of SAP Cloud Identity Services, both the web and mobile version. Thus it combines the known tile-based look and feel with the new Horizon experience.
